Third-Party Services and Data Recipients
Cloudflare provides content delivery, security, and bot protection services. When enabled, Cloudflare processes device and network information (including pseudonymous identifiers) to help protect the website and maintain reliability. Data is processed according to Cloudflare’s privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Google Analytics (Google) provides website analytics services. When enabled, it processes usage data using pseudonymous identifiers to produce aggregated statistics about how visitors interact with our website. Data is processed according to Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
adscale.de provides marketing-related functionality. When enabled, it processes information associated with your device and interactions using pseudonymous identifiers to support marketing features. Data is processed according to the provider’s privacy policy.
We use our own consent management system (Trustwards) to record your cookie preferences. The “trustwardsCookie” stores which cookie categories you have accepted or rejected, ensuring your choices persist across visits. This cookie is strictly necessary for compliance with applicable privacy regulations and consumer choice requirements. Your consent data is processed securely and is not shared with third parties unless legally required.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the applicable jurisdictional safeguards:
- Cloudflare: Headquartered in the United States. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
- Google Analytics: Headquartered in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

- Trustwards: Data is processed on our own infrastructure. No international transfer occurs unless explicitly stated.
We recommend reviewing each provider’s privacy policy for detailed information about their data protection measures.
Legal Basis for Processing
Strictly Necessary cookies are exempt from consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the website and features you request (for example, security and saving your cookie choices). Analytics and Marketing cookies require your choice to be respected. Under the CCPA/CPRA, where cookies involve “selling” or “sharing” personal information (such as for cross-context behavioral advertising), we provide the right to opt out through our cookie preferences controls and by honoring the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is enabled in your browser.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can choose whether to allow Analytics and Marketing cookies, and you can change your choices at any time. You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through the cookie preferences link in our website footer, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. If you opt out of cookies that are used for selling or sharing personal information, we will stop using those cookies for that purpose.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data) to block cookies, clear browsing data, and manage site permissions.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security to manage Enhanced Tracking Protection, cookies and site data, and to clear data.
- Apple Safari (macOS/iOS): Settings (or Preferences) > Privacy to manage cookies and website data, and to prevent cross-site tracking.
